Why Bobby
Named after Edinburgh’s most loyal local.
Greyfriars Bobby was the little Skye Terrier who, after his owner John Gray died in 1858, kept watch at the grave in Greyfriars Kirkyard for fourteen years. The city licensed him, built him a statue, and never really let the story go.
The crawl starts a few steps from that kirkyard. The name isn’t branding fluff — it’s the standard we try to hold: show up, stay with your people, look after the pack.
